LIL MAN GOT BIG GAME

Lil man Ta'Veon Jones played big at The Tip-Off Classic. The 5'7 point guard led Nightrydas to a 3-0 record at TTOC.

AN UNKNOWN PLAYER

Nightrydas EYBL, lost Philip Labaron to Team Thad early in the AAU recruiting period and that left a lot of people wondering what will Nightrydas have this year. Nightrydas has had at least 2 top 100 kids on their roster every year. When you think about Nightrydas names like Scottie Barnes, Isaiah Todd and Jett Howard comes to mind. Entering the week of The Tip-Off Classic we were wondering who will the Nightrydas have, we’ve heard of names like Sammie Yeanay, a Top 100 forward out of Gainsville, FL and Malik Abdullahi who recently joined the team after an amazing performance at The Throne. When we looked at the roster, the name Ta’veon Jones didn’t stand out, but that would soon change.

“WHEN YOU LOOKED AT THE ROSTER, THE NAME TA’VEON JONES DIDN’T STAND OUT BUT THAT WOULD SOON CHANGE.”

Friday night 8:30pm was the prime time game Nightrydas versus a really good Game Elite team. Game Elite was ranked high as #1 last year and returned almost everybody. This game was standing room only, the whole city of Atlanta came out to see this highly anticipated matchup. This was the best game of the weekend that took overtime to decide the winner. Nightrydas won 67 – 64 with Ta’Veon Jones leading the way. Jones was the floor general and was the key piece to the Nightrydas winning getting timely steals and buckets. Many people left that game saying who is this guy.

It wasn’t a fluke

Alright anybody can have 1 good game. Lets see if he can do it again. Not only did he do it again, he single handedly beat AOT. With Nightrydas down 3 points with 12 seconds left in the game, Ta’Veon shot a 3 pointer, made it and got fouled sending him to the Free Throw line to win the game. After an amazing weekend at The Tip-Off Classic people are on notice about Ta’Veon Jones, the little man with big game.
